Let customers speak for us
from 36 reviewsI needed to change up my game and get more control in the kitchen. This paddle gave me that edge. Great for control and throwing in a reset.
So far I have loved your paddle. I am on our club Pickleball team at Miami University and everyone who has tried my paddle has loved it. I am on our executive committee for the club and we are trying to find a sponsor for paddles. We currently we have a constant 50-60 players 3 days a week for practice. I have spoke with our other members and we would love if we could work with you. We are sending 8 players including myself to the DUPR Collegiate nationals in early November.
My two-handed backhand drive feels so satisfying now!
Balanced control and power along with good reach.
We bought one paddle, but when my mom came to visit she liked it so much she took it back to Florida so we had to order two more.
Mom has been playing for years, has researched paddles and recently bought one at the US Open Pickleball Championships but it only took her one game with the OYA Phantom to declare it her favorite.
I don’t play much but I can tell that the phantom is different because it’s lighter and yet has less vibration than the $200 rackets. The best recommendation comes from my husband, a seasoned tennis guy. He knows his stuff and chooses the Phantom.
I love the Phantom Max for a few reasons.
1- Having played a lot of tennis and ping pong, the longer handle feels more natural in my hand.
2- It looks awesome, I enjoy the design and the color scheme, I always get asked where it is from and what brand it is.
3-The quality is a great blend of power and spin. I am a lower to intermediate level player and this paddle can hit every shot I need. Other more expensive paddles have had either too much power or too much spin for my game. I feel like I can grow and develop while using this paddle.
Definitely will be buying another Oya paddle in the future and will be rocking the Phantom Max for as long as possible!
A paddle 17" long x 7" wide with a 7" long handle were my dream specs coming from tennis. I was patiently waiting for a company to create one. This paddle has it all for the advanced player. It combines power with great spin and nice touch. The weight is on the high side but makes the paddle so stable on both groundstrokes and volleys.
The fit and finish of the paddle is excellent and it feels solid in the hands. It definitely draws attention from others who know their paddles. Many questions have been asked about the brand, specs, etc.
Would gladly pay extra for a neoprene head cover for protection if available.
The majority of my paddle sports experience comes from tennis. I just recently started playing pickleball and have tried multiple paddles. The biggest struggle right away with all the paddles was repeatedly hitting the ball into the net, as I was use to hitting a tennis ball which required less force. I was also hitting weak, uncontrolled backhands from only being able to hit with one hand on the grip.
I was lucky enough to be able to demo this final product and it was AMAZING. I was able to use my exact muscle memory from tennis and apply it directly to pickleball with this paddle. Being able to rip backhands with two hands was a game changer, and even dinking in the kitchen felt cleaner. As you can imagine, I immediately pre-ordered this paddle and can’t wait to officially own one!
